Work Boxes

Hope's Horizons can help you set up your own home-schooling system utilizing the "Workbox" method.  Work boxes are small task-based activities that a child can typically complete independently, though we suggest working cooperatively with your child to build social referencing skills.  Work boxes may be related to math, literacy, science, fine motor skill development, pre-writing, and similar academic areas.  We utilize work boxes extensively in our hands-on intervention programs.  The system is similar to methods established with the TEAACH educational philosophy and also the methods used in many Early Intervention programs (including DDI Vantage & Kids On The Move).
