April Class Schedule

Morning Enrichment Program
Our morning enrichment program provides an academic base with plenty of time for child-directed learning centers and project-based learning.   Children engage in hands-on activities with exposure to math, literacy, science, and art each day.   Each child receives a full developmental assessment and an individualized learning plan based on their personal needs.  Treatment plans can also be incorporated for our exceptional children who need additional support.

New Client Openings!

I now have openings for new private clients.  I am currently available in the afternoons, 2-3 days per week.  Interventions will begin in the child's home while I build a relationship and develop general social skills & then move to a small school setting.  I specialize in autism spectrum disorder but can apply the same general principles to children with various learning difficulties, ADD/ADHD, behavioral challenges, etc.  To set up a FREE consultation give me a call @ (801) 636-5617.

Arts for Autism

Hope's Horizons believes art and music are key foundations for motivating social engagement, peer interactions, and developing critical social/emotional regulation skills.   Children are provided with opportunities to explore various instruments or different forms of art media with guidance and support from a parent or mentor/teacher.  Neuro-typical children are welcome as well!

Welcome to Hope's Horizons

Welcome to Hope's Horizons Developmental Services.  We specialize in bringing hope, happiness, and healing to families of children on the autism spectrum.  Our primary focus is providing social/relationship based interventions with an academic component for children on the spectrum, providing services for children within their own homes, schools, and communities where there is the highest need for the ability to generalize and socialize within the environment. We provide a full comprehensive developmental evaluation and an individualized learning plan with activities geared to develop social/emotional competency, self help abilities, language and literacy development, academic/cognitive processing skills, and gross & fine motor skill development.  Our approach is methodology friendly, we can work in conjunction with any existing interventions including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Floor Time/DIR, RDI, IEPs, and other forms of educational and developmental support.
